The 2007 Canadian Folk Music Awards gala takes place on Saturday, December 1 at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Québec (Hull). The event begins at 7:00 pm (local time).

The hosts for the upcoming 2007 Canadian Folk Music Awards are CBC’s one-and-only Shelagh Rogers and Québec trad stepdancer-caller-musician Benoit Bourque, a former CFMA winner himself. They’ll be providing gala-goers with an entertaining and bilingual presentation of the night’s events, which includes the awards themselves plus live performances by Ron Hynes, Vishten, Ian Tamblyn, Florent Vollant, Galitcha, Sylvia Tyson, The Duhks and T. Nile. Visit the Gala page for how to reserve your tickets now!
