Preview Summer Programme 2008

We are very busy planning the 2008 season so amateur musicians and their families can already begin to plan their summer holidays! As always, both beginning musicians and experienced amateurs will find courses which are appropriate for them and will enjoy our beautiful site on the shores of Lake MacDonald in the Laurentians. Here is an overview of what musical pleasures await you:

Week 1 – June 22-29th
An intensive advanced vocal program; a traditional harp program, and a Broadway musical theatre program

Week 2 – June 29th to July 6th
Early music: Pilgrimage to Compostello

Week 3 – July 6th to 13th
Chamber Music, Voice, Piano, Caribbean Mass, Steel pan drums

Week 4 – July 13th to 20th
Chamber Music, Voice, Piano, Alcan String Quartet

Week 5 – July 20th to July 27th
Chamber Music, Voice, Piano, Latin Rhythms, Alcan String Quartet

Week 6 – July 27th to August 3rd
Winds, Jazz, Latin Rhythms

Week 7 – August 3rd to 10th
Choral singing

Week 8 – August 10th to 17th
Choral singing, Broadway, Musical Theatre
Our program for children welcomes children aged 4 to 11 in weeks two through eight and there are interesting activities for adolescents throughout the summer. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Details of programming will be available on line as of late January 2008.
