Plan now to attend the first ever French-Canadian Festival in the Keweenaw! Set aside August 28th thru 31st for an immersion into the culture brought here by the early settlers. All events take place in Chassell, Michigan. A complete listing of these exciting events may be viewed here.

August 28th, Thursday – Chassell Heritage Center – Open 4 to 9 p.m.

Guided Historical Tours on a Trolley - $10 - 1:00, 2:30, 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. Sign up at the Chassell Heritage Center
August 29th – Chassell VFW, US 41 Downtown Chassell – 8 p.m. - $8 at the door

Reception for Quebecois Band – De Temps Antan
Meet and welcome band members Éric Beaudry, André Brunet, and Pierre-Luc Dupuis. The evening will include an hour of traditional Quebecois music by De Temps Antan, social time, food available for purchase, and a cash bar.

August 30th - Saturday Evening Soiree at the Park Pavilion – tickets available at gates. A festive evening party with music, dancing, and food.

$15/ adults; $10/students; 12 and under free!

August 31st – 8:45 a.m. Sunday Morning gathering at the Shrine and procession to 9:00 a.m. Mass St. Anne Catholic Church (US 41, Downtown Chassell)

Festival Joie de Vivre is brought to you by the Chassell Historical Organization along with generous supporters. Proceeds go to the Chassell Heritage Center handicapped access project.
